I modified pcStorefront.css here =>
/*Style the page description at the top of the page, when available*/
.pcPageDesc
{
    margin-bottom: 5px;
    padding: 5px;
    background-color: #FFFFFF;
}
but when I view http://69.46.28.168/store/pc/viewCategories.asp?idCategory=6 - product detail screen
The section background stays yellow.

It looks like you didn't copy the modified pcStorefront.css file to your web site. When we view the CSS on the site, it still uses #FFFFCC as the background color for the pcPageDesc class.

hrm I could have sworn I uploaded the new version. Gives DW CS3 a swift kick. Major updates to the site, now. Does anyone see any padding, margin snafu's?

Look at IE7 versus FF.  The left nav has better left/right padding in FF than in IE. You will probably need to add conditional styling for IE to allow some breathing room.

A couple of suggestions:
1. Your right column doesn't seem to be wide enough. The right side of the customer account section should only be a few pixels from the blue line on the far right.

2. The right side of your banner behind Need Help and the "Wholesale > Affiliates > ..." is grainy/distorted. You may want to switch that to be a GIF vs. JPG or increase the JPG resolution.

3. I'm sure you just didn't get to it yet but the Powered by Product Cart is still in the footer. That should be replaced with your own footer info.

Other than that it looks good.

I have the PSD file for the graphic header, still. PM me privately for quoting on conditional CSS and graphic editing. Yes, the footer is still stock as this site is not ready for public viewing, yet.

For the life of me, I could not use imageready to get a good css controlled table for the graphic header. When I tried, it broke the cells apart. I'm sure it would be better if the header came under css control.

The ietooltip shows an array all formatted to one color. I'm sure this is something the developers overlooked. It needs to obey the other colors given in css for prices and savings, etc.

We're also thinking that a CSS/XML or other dynamic toolbar below our graphic header would be nice for displaying the major categories in that section. Maybe? And dynamic footer links to the cats they are on or a default. How can the devs overlook that the image for expanding the cats is align top instead of align center? That should be flush with the cat name. I saw that an early version of dynamic cats was coded but nothing for 3.0

If you view the source for http://www.buygolfshirts.net/store/pc/home.asp - http://www.buygolfshirts.net/store/pc/home.asp  you will see that there is a block of CSS that is wrapped in these statements:

<!--[if IE]>
style stuff here
<![endif]-->

You just create alternate copies of styles in your main style sheet, edited to suit the needs of IE.  That way you can force overrides so things look properly in the various browsers.
