ManageHomePage.asp. I made some entries and clicked "Update Settings" then I received the message "Please enter a value for this field!", but there was no indication about what field it was referring to. After some playing around, I discovered that if there wasn't an entry in the fields under "Number of items to show" then that error was displayed.

It's the same problem in FF V3 and IE V7.

Hi,  When you click on OK you are taken to the field in question - hence "value for this field" :-)

OK, guess my expectations were off. I think PC used to display a visual flag next to all the fields that were incorrect. So basically I have to hit OK, get the next error, OK, etc. It would be nice if those fields had a "reguired" indicator.
