Does anyone know:  If I change "SKU" in the languages.asp file to "Item #,"  will this affect the XML Tools Manager/ Export Orders to XML?  For example, now when I export XML Orders the SKU line is <SKU>515</SKU>.  If I change the languages file, will the XML  SKU line be <Item #>515</Item #>?

Hi,
I very much doubt it would change the XML output - it wouldn't make sense for it to do so. The languages.asp is focussed on the customer facing pages primarily. In addition XML has definitions for the tags, so having it modified arbitrarily via languages.asp would be a "bad thing". Give it a try, I think it will be fine.

Thanks Hamish!  I'll give it a try.  My customers don't seem to understand what SKU means, but I don't want to tamper with my XML!

Mine don't understand SKU either, and I've replaced it in languages.asp with 'Code'.

It will not affect it one bit. The XML tool is querying the database. The language file is an inserted variable to display text in any language on a web page and not a core query function.
