Is there any way to mark an order as a test order so that it doesn't show up in sales reports?

Hi,
Yes, It's possible to permanently delete test orders.
Login to your admin panels & then change the url to end admin/PurgeOrders.asp
- If you have renamed your admin directory then obviously point at that directory instead.

There is no link to this page as it is not a desirable thing to do in a live store against real orders.

USE WITH EXTREME CAUTION!

Let's clarify, lest there be any misunderstanding, that this will wipe out ALL orders - not just so-called test orders.  Everything goes away.  Right Hamish?

Hi Greg,
Excellent question - It's not a "Nuke" of ALL orders, just a specific one - it asks which one.

With a small bit of editing it CAN be made to zap all the orders & I've done so in the past PRIOR to a store going live.

Ahh, ok.  I have not personally used that tool, but I thought I recalled a post where someone had nuked the entire store.  Good to know, just didn't want to see kcollins jump off a cliff.

thanks
