Subject: ACH Direct and Productcart CC problems

Hi
I am currently signed up with ACH direct. They are my credit processors. My account is active with them for about more than a month. I am scheduled to go live with my store in about a week. I was doing a transaction this afternoon and just realized that the credit card portion of the transaction does not work. After entering the credit card info I hit the process button and nothing happens, except the screen clears all the input fileds of the cc form. Neither there is any message on the page giving any reason, such as declined card etc etc... Am just worried about this deal.
feedback and suggestions are  always appreciated. Any ACH direct users on the forum?

This sounds like an IP address issue.
 
Often the test store is on a different IP address or in a subdomain so the payment processor cannot find the correct URL to work from.
 
Where is your test shop set up and where is ACH pointing to?
 
Also are you using an SSL? - this can cause problems with payment processors if not set up correctly.

This is a live store and as there is not any traffic I chose to customize it while it is live. I am hosted with joltdigital and havn't heard anything from their email stating any test store IP.

where in the store setting do I set this up. I added a new payment method and put in the userid and password for ACH direct, that's about it as far as ACHD is concerned.

In 'settings' have you added you ssl address in the appropriate box?

From your screenshot it appears you have not checked the box that says 'this store uses ssl'
 
If you have a valid ssl certificate then you will need to check this box.

I will check mark the box and run a credit card to see if it works.I did open a support ticket about two days ago. I haven't heard from tech since yesterday morning . I have also send the above screen shot to tt.

In your ticket you asked two questions. One was to check the ssl cert on the domain. That was done and found to be ok. Your other question was not clear and we asked for further details so as to understand what you were asking. There were no attachments on the trouble ticket.

Apparently a com component was not installed on the server and JDigital did that pretty quickly. After clicking on the process order, a new page opens up with the  following error "Error : There was a problem completing your order. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please contact customer support to review your order." I checked my virtual terminal and there are no transactions that have been recorded. There seems to be a problem at the server or with PCart.

After your most recent post, our logs reflect several successful credit card transactions were processed.  Details of these transactions may be viewed by first navigating to https://www.paymentsgateway.net - https://www.paymentsgateway.net  and then clicking "Merchant Login".

Please advise if this is still an open issue and we can investigate further.

It is finally working after few phone calls and some lost orders.
