Hi

Does any one know if there is a way to add a group of products to the cart using a URL

I have the single item working example:

http://www.earlyimpact.com/eistore/productcart/pc/instPrd.asp?idproduct=431 - www.earlyimpact.com/eistore/productcart/pc/instPrd.asp?idproduct=431

I would like to use something similar, but add 2 or 3 different products.

Regards

Ben

There is no stock functionality to accomplish this.  Instprd as you have discovered is the script that receives "add to cart" requests.  It uses a combination of visible and hidden form fields to perform this task.  To cause the functionality you are seeking would involve modifications to substitute the form field values with query string variables and logic which would address both that new requirement as well as enforcing the necessary security precautions.

Let me add to that response that the logic related to the "format M" multiple add to cart category page layout is where you want to direct your attention in this regard.

Thanks

The QtyM works in the link, but still only one product.

I don't think I will pursue it as I wanted to demonstrate a category discount for marketing purposes, but as the discount doesn't appear as a line item, its not very punchy. The customer needs a calculator to see that they got a discount.
