Can i use flash ".swf" file as a category image.? Its like when we go to browse catalog link can i display flash file instead of gif or jpeg files as a category image?

Hi Ashutosh,

The "thumbnail" category images on the viewcategories.asp page, or the sub category images on a category page are pulled via the SRC call in an image tag; FLASH movies, however, are embeded.

It would be a pretty simple customization to replace the image tag with the embed tags and then just call for the .swf (rather than .gif, .jpg or .png) from the database where the image name is stored.
