On our site the main category is Our Products and within that we have Stone and Tile. I am able to use the admin to place category main images for Stone and Tile as category identifiers but the top level - Our Products does not have any of the same input fields.

So the question is...how do I put a main image on Our Products and corresponding copy to setup the Stone and Tile category's?

Is this online where we can see it, even if you need to PM it to keep it private during development?  It's so much easier to understand what you want after looking at the current layout.

ok, ya - that's a shortcoming (or lack of such a feature).  The system does not support an image and text at that location.  If you want one, you need to fiddle with logic on the page.

Find the location in the code where that page displays the text and image, and add the necessary logic to decide when to drop in the root level content you desire.

If you have sufficient skills, you may want to set a little config .asp file that contains external references for such elements so that when you need to change the image or text, you don't have to re-edit the viewcategories.asp file to do so.
