We use authorize.net and I have a customer who put in the wrong CCV code, so his transaction was declined.  Then he figured out what the right CCV code was and he clicked to go back to re-enter his credit card information.  After entering the correct information and clicking "Submit," he received a message that it was a duplicate transaction.  How long until the system no longer thinks this is a duplicate transaction so I can re-submit the order?  I know that I can bypass all this and enter the transaction manually on auth.net, but I would rather do it the right way.

Hi Loracady,
According to Authorize.net:  2 minutes unless you override

This is from their knowledge base question:  Error 11: A duplicate transaction has been submitted.

The largest value we will accept for x_duplicate_window is 28800, which equals eight hours. If a value greater than 28800 sent, the payment gateway will default to 28800. If x_duplicate_window is set to 0 or to a negative number, no duplicate transaction window will be enforced for your software's transactions. If no value is sent, the default value of 120 (two minutes) would be used.
