Hello,

Our site has a lot of categories and subcategories, which makes browsing somewhat difficult since the categories list blends together thus making it difficult to read when expanded.

I was wondering if there was a way to have the sub-categories to be shaded (50%grey) or to have some other visual affect to assist the visual seperation of the sub-categories from the categories list.

I don't know if this has been done or not, but this is sort of an idea of what we are looking for, but not permanently fully expanded.

Sure, you can use CSS to target specific elements of your navigation using the power of http://www.w3.org/TR/CSS2/selector.html - descendant selectors . Post your Web site domain, indicate which links you are referring to, and we (or someone else) could give you a hint on how to go about it.
