We would like in our shop to show the delivery status with traffic lights.

Example:

< ="application/x-shockwave-flash" ="http://www.gstatic.com/translate/_p.swf" id="tts_" width="18" height="18">< value="http://www.gstatic.com/translate/_p.swf" name="movie">< value="_name=" name="flashvars">< value="transparent" name="wmode">< value="always" name="allowAccess">
Can someone give me a hint?

Hi,
ProductCart displays 9 different order status flags in the admin pages. However, none of these are "Delivery Status" as once a package is shipped there is no tracking of the packages. This would require integration with the shipping companies API (if they provide one).
I suspect this will require a fair sized amount of custom coding, even if an API is available as you would also need to track the package ID etc and cope with shipping with multiple packages etc etc.
If you mean Order status, using the existing order statuses then it will not be as complex.

We would like to use traffic lights directly on the product detail page.

Like on this website:  http://www.redcoon.at/

On Stock, out of Stock etc.....

What you are requesting can only be provided via custom programming.  We have a few sites where we did something similar.

In this site, we altered the admin to support a new table of status phrases such as "in stock", "temporarily out of stock", and other strings.  Then the product admin was altered to allow the merchant to indicate the status for each product which is then displayed on category and product detail pages. http://www.sierratoysoldier.com/ourstore/pc/BH-0101-G-A-Custer-470p3680.htm - http://www.sierratoysoldier.com/ourstore/pc/BH-0101-G-A-Custer-470p3680.htm

In http://www.ahamodernliving.com/ - http://www.ahamodernliving.com/  we simply used the inventory level to designate "in stock" or "backordered", but ranges of stock levels could easily equate to different messages (or in your case, the number of little lights that appear.)

If you are interested in such a custom programming request, please e-mail us via our web site.

Greg's examples looks close to what you are after. Personally I prefer to see the text rather than traffic lights. Unless customers are frequent visitors to your store then a traffic light system will have little or no meaning to them.
