Bill, those links at the end refer to the structure that you used for a while, and that you recently migrated away from. They would necessarily no longer exist as the full current path is not listed in the URLs.

Agreed. The others are still in the pages, generally look to be .asp code variables.
Google is spidering the site, but it is not indexing any pages from the sitemap. In fact the sitemap indexed page count keeps getting lower and lower. When we did the URL switch Google was indexing the pages and got up to about 8000. It is now at 1150 and is removing about 50 from the sitemap every day.
Something is very wrong. Traffic and SERPS are non existant as well.

PageRank is at 3 and there are only 36 incoming links, according to Google. So, from Google's point of view, your Web site is probably not yet relevant enough to justify indexing thousands of URLs.
Google Webmaster Central makes it very clear that the number of URLs contained in a sitemap is in no way a guarantee that those URLs will be indexed.
"Please note that submitting a Sitemap doesn't guarantee that all pages of your site will be crawled or included in our search results."

We have about 700 inbound links according to Webmaster Tools. Agreed we need more links though. We're going to be starting with that next week.
We did have about 25,000 links though with the same inbounds. We changed the URL structure (long story) and we needed to rebuild the indexed URL's. We expected that to take a while. What we didn't expect is to get to about 8k and then have the Big G start working the other direction. We are down to about 1140 today. Maybe a bunch of new links will fix it, but I kinda doubt it. We're of course looking over everything right now to see if it's something we're doing.
