Subject: Error 3201 when trying to add a product by cloning

I am new to Product Cart (took over from someone else) and tried to add a new product to my store by cloning an existing product. The two products are identical except for the picture and description and different sku and name.
The product shows up in my store, but when I go to my website to the product category, I get an error message that there is a problem with the store and when I go to help this is what I get. I deleted the new product once and tried to re-add it both as a new product (same error; I deleted the product) and as a cloned product again (same error; I deleted the product):
Error Number: 3021
Source: ADODB.Field
Description: Either BOF or EOF is True, or the current record has been deleted. Requested operation requires a current record.
query=SELECT idDiscountperquantity FROM discountsperquantity WHERE idproduct=3812 and discountPerUnit<>0
Request Method: GET
Server Port: 80
HTTPS: off
Local Address: 10.0.0.2
Host Address: 24.159.38.172
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US) AppleWebKit/532.5 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/4.0.249.89 Safari/532.5
URL: /tanningbeds/pc/viewCategories.asp
HTTP Headers: hottanningbeds.com, en-US,en;q=0.8
Once I delete the new product, my store works fine. I have no idea why this is happening, what it means, or how to fix it.
This is not the most intuitive shopping cart I've ever worked with.

This is definitely not an issue that we are aware of.
(1) Make sure that the store has been correctly setup. Restore default files if any files have been customized (making a back-up copy of the customized files).
(2) Make sure that the database type in the file "includes/storeconstants.asp" is correct (Access vs. SQL). This is a setting that should never change, which is why there is no interface to edit it directly in the Control Panel. However, maybe a mistake was made at the time of setup or the store database was moved from Access to SQL.
To find more information on the error, try printing raw errors to the screen by following this article in the ProductCart documentation:
http://wiki.earlyimpact.com/how_to/show_raw_errors - http://wiki.earlyimpact.com/how_to/show_raw_errors
If you cannot find the source of the problem, certainly open a support ticket.
