Still looking for a solution, Can anyone Help?

( I have a customer who sells fabric. They want to be able to sell these
fabrics
by quarter yard increments. I need to increase the price by a percentage of
the whole yard price.

i.e.: If the customer selects from a dropdown 1/2 yard, it need to increase
the whole price by 50%. Can this be done? )

We built a site like this. The customer sells in 1/2 yard increments. They created each product as a 1/2 yard with the price for the 1/2 yard. In this case, qty 1 is a 1/2 yard, qty 2 is a yard, etc. The price for the 1/2 yard is just multiplied by the qty purchased to get the extended price.

Could you setup the products so qty 1 = 1/4 yard and just let the customer increase the quantity for the total that they want? You would have a note in the description that items are sold in 1/4 yard increments.
