I've just starting playing around with changing the css sheets in my cart to custom colors etc- and tho I've figured everything else out, there is one small area in which I am hitting a wall- When you mouse over a product, or the 'more details' button, that little 'box' that comes up is still in the stock grey top/ blue text- and I can't for the life of me find where to change it! I've changed the color of every other bit of text in the cart in the pcstorefront.css file, but can't seem to find this particular 'fix'. I'm sure it's quite simple, as everything else really was after a bit of trial and error (as I am not very web savvy and couldn't do a thing without frontpage! LOL) but after 2 hours of messing around this morning I am still getting no where- If someone could direct me where to go to change that color, I'd sure appreciate it. I've searched the forums at length and haven't found this particular answer, but I do apologize if it has already been posted and I missed it.
Thank you!
Jes

Thank you so very much Greg- That helped! I now have another question for you- I've restyled the css sheets in the pcStoreFront folder, and all looks good- except for 2 products, which show up with a really dark background- and I cannot, for the life of me figure out WHY! You can see one item here: http://www.halfcircleranch.com/store/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=58&idcategory=16 - http://www.halfcircleranch.com/store/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=58&idcategory=16
I've checked and rechecked that css sheet and can't for the life of me figure out why only 2 items in the entire store are coming up with funky backgrounds (and they're different colors to boot!) If you can direct me to the right spot, I would sure appreciate it-
Thank you so much, for your time- I can't tell you how much I appreciate it!

Hi Jes,
It looks like your P tag and Span tag at that table is using a class=2 and that class has a background img (leather). Remove the class is it should display properly,
Alan
Update: That should be class-style 2 :)

Oh jeez Alan, I NEVER would have thought to look IN the cart- I checked every line in every css file I could find, I was SO confused! What a blonde... LOL- Thanks for the help, that was one EASY fix!!

Jes, glad to help. In Google Chrome if you right click on that block of text and select inspect element, you can usually find out what's going on. At least from a basic standpoint. By the way, your site is looking pretty good

Thanks:-) I installed the add on for IE, but it just totally confused me- I will try that Google Chrome thing you've mentioned-
It's getting there! I spent about 4 or 5 hours on it this weekend, and got a LOT done- now I've just got to redo all of the buttons so the color scheme matches, and 'tweak' the nav bar, which I hate in the cart right now- just not sure how to make it match the site- BUT, it's totally functional now, I just need to take the time to finish it. I'm pretty tickled with it, and darn proud of myself for figuring it out- I am so, SO glad I went with PC Alan, I am loving the cart itself, and if I ever get the site done- I'll be sitting pretty:) Thanks again-

K Alan, one... more... question. I tried to restyle the little ajax popup window a few days ago, screwed it up royally and then just whited everything out- so now, I have no 'frame' to go in and fix- where do I go to find the 'default' files, or will you email me the little images that you have, cause then I can just change the colors to fit MY site and overwrite the files I have- The help is posted above, or here: http://wiki.earlyimpact.com/how_to/modify_product_preview?s%5b%5d=default&s%5b%5d=ajax - http://wiki.earlyimpact.com/how_to/modify_product_preview?s[]=default&s[]=ajax - I just now have this big white blob to edit, and need to find the stock images again (if that makes ANY sense!)
Thanks a million, as always-
J

I wasn't a fan of google chrome when it first came out but it has some great tools for web developers. I find I'm using it more and more now to pinpoint problems with sites.
