Is anyone interested in or working on an add on to use Post Office API to verify and normalize an address entered into Product Cart?

I wish that would be part of PC.  I've seen tons of sites where you simply enter your street information and 4 digit zip code.  The site then pulls the town name, state, and plus 4.

Russ, if you are seeking a developer, please contact me.  We'd certainly like to look at your requirements.

Greg we will contact you soon about that custom programming. I know you have worked with us before at Rings and Things on our small order fee.

Thanks,
Nate

Did this project ever come to fruition?

No, it has not. Turns out the USPS API can only be used with USPS shipments.

We've explored using some other address verification databases but, so far, nothing has worked out with this.  2 other verification services we've found are Melissadata and QAS Pro. Both require work to integrate into Product Cart.

This one looks like what I need.

Did you ever try to integrate it into product cart?

Thanks for the feed back.

Address verification would be a great add-on for ProductCart. We always get charge backs from UPS for address changes....and we can't go back and charge the customer. It's definitely an issue. We use flat rate Custom Shipping Options.

I work for Russ and we have not tried to incorporate %20 - www.qas.com/address-search.htm into our store yet. If and when we do I will let you know. This does look like the most promising one though.
