My current site has a static home page and other content pages. What do I need to do to change this to the managed Home Page and Managed Content Pages?

Currently I have a problem with the content pages. When you add something to the cart, it breaks the content and home pages. The company that set this site up has been very slow in getting this fixed.  It took them 6 months to upgrade the cart to 4.1 and this problem has been going on sense the upgrade was done in September. I believe it has something to do with the small shopping cart that is on the page. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated very much. The site is http://www.theweatherhouse.com

Thanks,
Kay Speranza

Hi Kay,

You probably know that the dynamic home page that comes with PC is here:
http://www.theweatherhouse.com/productcart/pc/home.asp - http://www.theweatherhouse.com/productcart/pc/home.asp

That page could be moved to the root of the site, replacing the current static page, following this procedure:
http://wiki.earlyimpact.com/how_to/move_home_page_retain_ajax - http://wiki.earlyimpact.com/how_to/move_home_page_retain_ajax

There are other options, such as a custom home page that is still easy to manage, but simply different then the stock home page.  I could discuss those options, as well as assist you in getting this work done on a timely basis, with you if contact me directly.

BTW, at first glance, it looks like the problem after adding items to the cart is the absence of a simple include file reference.  Probably a 2-minute fix unless there is more than what I see at the moment.
