When adding a New Content Page in version 4.1 I have tried to use he HTML Editor to add text and upload and insert a photo.   The  Upload File pop-up doesn't seem to work.  Can you tell me what folder those images are populating?    This feature doesn't seem to be working but I don't know if it is a server permissions error or program error.

Hello,

I believe this is the location you are looking for.

The image upload in the HTML editor requires that the images are in JPG or GIF format. It doesn't seem to like the image if its file extension is in upper case ie. .JPG instead of .jpg. That maybe the issue.

It can also timeout if the images being uploaded are too large. This is common with modern day digital cameras and although there is a built in upload and resize feature (if it is installed on your web hosts server) I would recommend an initial batch resize first. You can do this in Photoshop, PaintshopPro, Fireworks and the free Irfanview. For most stores an image width of 1000 pixels is enough which accomodates the detail image and makes the image upload process much faster than using images in their native size which is oftem 5 megapixels and upwards.

Kelly is right with the file location of the uploaded images. They could also be in a sub-folder of the 'catalog' folder if you specified one at the time of upload (this is an option in the html editor.

I'm having the same issue. The error reads on my screen.
I try uploading an image via assetmanager.asp and the page just hangs dead. I looked at the error code and it reads "Object expected Line 36, character 0".
