The following article on disabling IE 9 Beta no longer works.

Is there a change to the code that we need to know about.

Now that IE9 is a Release Candidate, we are actually investigating where the issues are so that we can see what needs to be done to address them.

For example, it appears that the version of jQuery that we are using has some incompatibility issues with IE9, so we are researching that specific matter and we should be able to report back very soon.

Providing feedback on IE9 RC compatibility:
On the login page of our store, existing customers cannot login at the checkout page. When they click the login button it does nothing. New customers appear to work just fine.

Version 4.1 SP1 with very little code customizations.

I'm joining this discussion as I need to keep a watching brief on IE9 too.

Their launch documentation highlighted that IE9 was 'standards compliant' so I thought 'Great, not so many workarounds'. I guess I should have known better !

We are going to publish a fix tomorrow. A new version of jQuery is being worked on by the jQuery, but it is available as a BETA. This new version of jQuery appears to be resolving the incompatibility issues with IE9.
