Right now my host exports my SQL data and I download it using FTP and restore it to SQL Express running on my PC, all so I can run some CR reports I have made for managing orders, etc. Has anyone pulled data into CR from a PC store from over the web? If so, I would be grateful to learn how!

I have not used CR for quiet sometime and it is a very broad app suite.

It is straight forward to create a custom report to export dta as a CSV. Perhaps you could use this as the input to CR. I'm not sure how you would create the script in CR to trigger the report - but I would think it would not take that much effort to do so. Otherwise run the report from within PC admin and then read it within CR.

I make some management reports that I cannot generate from the built in export functions. So I need access to the underlying data. Trying to get my host to create a "web service" for me as Crystal will connect to that. Right now, I make the reports with the manual steps, then post on CrystalReports.com so my manufacturer sees fairly current info on orders. Thanks, aa
