Hi Everyone,

We're beta testing our site right now and I have 2 people who can't get past the checkout screen. I checked the WIKI and saw the part about running jquery twice (I think I fixed that). I checked this forum and saw a post about an IE9 patch and installed that.

Neither seemed to help.

Here's what Linda writes: I've been trying the program this morning and am unable to complete an order after putting a number of products in my cart.  I cannot get beyond the initial "checkout" screen; I fill in my address information and when I click "continue" the screen refreshes and reappears without any of the information I just entered.
The next morning she writes: To answer your question, the "terms and conditions" information does not come up either.  The order page now does preserve my address information, but the "continue" does not take me any further for ordering an item with cost associated with it.

Linda is running Windows 7, McAfee Security Suite, and IE9.

Here's what Jacquelyn writes: In check out, I clicked on “terms and conditions” to view them and the link didn’t work – didn’t go anywhere.

In check out, I cannot get past the billing information page, I also cannot modify my purchase. When I click, ‘clear list’ on the left, nothing changes in my order preview even after refreshing. Am unable to get to the payment screen. I tried filling in the billing information with real data and after hitting ‘continue’ I get the billing information screen refreshed with the old generic data that was originally changed. I did have ‘accept terms’ checked too.
Playing more with this, I filled in ‘my account’ details and now when I try to check out (and can’t complete) my billing account info does not revert to the generic.

Jacquelyn is running Vista Home Premium, BitDefender, IE9.

As far as the conflicting Jquery goes, would that be if you had an extra one of these in your header and didn't realize it was already being loaded via inc_header that calls inc_jquery?
<script type="text/javascript" src="/js/jquery-1.5.1.min.js"></script>

Thoughts of what else I can try?

Thanks!

Best wishes,
Andrea @ EQ
