Does anyone know if there is an easy way to change the layout for the proddetails page? Or is this all hard code.

Hi, take a look at http://wiki.earlyimpact.com/productcart/settings-display#product_details_page_display_options
That along with header/footer and CSS gives quite a large amount of control and variation over the look. Beyond that there are various add-ons also listed on the WIKI and beyond that you are into custom coding.
