Our host supports both IIS 404 Error Handling and ISAPI Rewrite. I am most concerned about ensuring that spiders follow from default HTML to content pages as we emphasize value-added content and a dynamic merchandise selection. (That is to say that we typically sell a dress before the page gets indexed.)

Can someone tell me which is the most desirable route? IIS 404 Error handling is the simplest fix for us. Does it work?
