Is it possible to assign Apparel Sub-Products to BTO Items?

For example, Let's say 1 BTO product: "MYBTO" and it consists of 2 bto items.

Each bto item can be purchased by it's self.

BTO Item "A" comes in several options:

Small red, Small green

Med red, Med Green

Large red, Large Green.

BTO Item "B" comes with one option:

Small, Med, Large

If I create a "Parent Item" for BTO Item "A" in the Apparel Add On - and it's sub-products skus become SKUsr, SKUsg, SKUmr, SKUmg, SKUlr, SKUlg, can I then use those skus as my BTO Items for "MYBTO"?

Also, when it comes to generating a Google Base export, do each of the sub-products get exported?

Sorry if this is a confusing post, I was trying to figure out a way to ask without getting into our product specifics.

Hi, I think I understood the question :-) If so then Yes - a BTO Product can have BTO Items that are assigned to it which are themselves Apparel products.
