I'm receiving the following error message when attempting to clone a product:
"Error in main database query on addProudctB.asp"
I can add and edit products just fine though.

I've searched this error message and only came up with a couple solutions, both of which did not work for me.

Any suggestions?

Make a similar change to adminv.asp in your admin folder.

Presumably you have altered something in your store, and the aabove procedure should allow you to detect what got broken.

I'm still having the issue.

I tried commenting out the "on error resume next" lines and now all I get is a 500 Internal Server error.

Please submit a support request Brian.  You are asking for assistance beyond what can likely be accomplished here in the forum.  Someone with development skills, and an understanding of server settings, likely needs to become involved.

Hi,
Your site is not allowing raw errors. Not only as it relates to this issue, but also going forward... it's
imperative for troubleshooting purposes that your server be able to show the raw (detailed) error to the browser. Please contact your hosting provider and have them make the change on the server, which is explained under (a)
here:

http://classicasp.aspfaq.com/general/why-do-i-get-a-500-internal-server-error-for-all-asp-errors.html" rel="nofollow - http://classicasp.aspfaq.com/general/why-do-i-get-a-500-internal-server-error-for-all-asp-errors.html

It's the IIS setting called "Send detailed error messages to the client".
Once we know the actual error, we can debug the problem. In IIS 7, you might have to use a "web.config" file to force the raw error to be shown. If that's not possible, you can find the actual error in the server logs.

Ok cool, thank you. I've sent a request to my host to turn on client side debugging.

But in the meantime I checked my server log and saw this error:
2011-10-05 19:44:39 W3SVC82 PSS005 50.22.14.85 POST /shop/cms/addProductB.asp |492|80040e14|Could_not_allocate_space_for_object_'dbo.products'_in_database_'mydatabase'_because_the_'PRIMARY'_filegroup_is_full._Create_disk_space_by_deleting_unneeded_files__dropping_objects_in_the_filegroup__adding_additional_files_to_the_filegroup__or_setting_autogrowth_on_for_existing_files_in_the_filegroup.

That's what I thought at first. But the error only occurs when I try to CLONE a product. I can add new products just fine.

Ok, heard back from the host, looks like there was an error when they transferred my DB from my old host. All good now.
