Under paypal express settings, we have the check box ticked for "process orders when they are placed" set payment status to "Paid". 

However it is not marking them paid, they are showing as "Pending"

Just noticed that under other payment settings it has a "save" button under paypal express it has an "update" button.

? Have I missed an update file??

We experienced the same thing... i think it has something to do with the server. We changed servers a couple weeks ago and it started working all of a sudden... not sure what triggered it though.

Strange, still being a windows server running asp code; I wouldn't think it would make a difference?

Perhaps its a permissions issue as it needs to update the DB.
