We don't want to see the SKU,
I found the controls in the back office to turn off those settings but it still shows on our individual products pages,
I saw the post here;

in the forum on editing the languages.asp file but we don't want to remove them all so we can keep track of our inventory. and I tried to do it anyways just to test it and it still showed part of the SKU :(
there was about 15 or so SKU entries in the languages.asp file.
I also saw info quoted below but I don't have a clue which ones I can safely remove and not hurt my inventory control!!!
"If you feel that you can edit the code a bit, a search for "pSKU" in the
source code in the "pc" folder will return most instances of where the
SKU is shown."

Can you put a link to an example of where it shows? If you make the adjustment in the control panel display settings to not show the SKU then it shouldn't show up in the product details pages.You can go to viewprdcode.asp and find the code between ' START: Show SKU and ' END: Show SKU
Then use the same code on the other pages that you want to hide it.... that way when you turn it on or off in the control panel... you can control it.

I was gone on a trip!!! I will do what you suggested and go into viewprdcode.asp and find the code and try and make those changes :)

I finally found the OTHER place to turn the SKU off so it wont show on the Product Details Pages!!! :)
Modify Products -> Other Settings -> Hide SKU on the product details page:
