I'm working on a site redesign, but need to upgrade the database to 4.6 in preparation for the new site. However, the old site has customizations that will be broken by the upgrade.

Is it possible to run a 4.6 dbase on a 4.1 site?

There should be no problem at all running a 4.6 db on stock 4.1 code since the db upgrade would be for features the 4.1 site wouldn't be accessing.
