I just completed the upgrade to v4.6.   I notice that when I load product pages now there's an additional number of characters being appended to the keyword-rich URL.

For example, the URL:
http://www.treklightgear.com/catalog/pc/The-Bindle-Pack-19p873.htm" rel="nofollow - http://www.treklightgear.com/catalog/pc/The-Bindle-Pack-19p873.htm

Now loads as:
http://www.treklightgear.com/catalog/pc/The-Bindle-Pack-19p873.htm#.UKWKf4aQPxc" rel="nofollow - http://www.treklightgear.com/catalog/pc/The-Bindle-Pack-19p873.htm#.UKWKf4aQPxc

This happens for every product in my store as far as I can tell, but not for category pages.

What is this new code?   It doesn't seem to be any help from an SEO perspective and makes it much uglier when customers are trying to share URL's.

Thanks in advance.

That's coming from AddThis; it's not a ProductCart thing.

I'm not really diggin' it either, but just haven't had time to look into it yet.

Thanks Sean - I just looked into it and found the answer here:  http://support.addthis.com/customer/portal/questions/515747-removing-characters-at-end-of-url" rel="nofollow - http://support.addthis.com/customer/portal/questions/515747-removing-characters-at-end-of-url

I made the change and it took care of the issue, thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

It is a tracking code. I got stung on that sucker a few months ago and spend a good part of a day before I discovered the source and was able to remove it.

Thanks for the 411, Seth. I've been meaning to look into that for some time ... but there's never enough time in a day for everything, right! Guess that's what communities are for ;-)

I'm sure lots of folks will be curious about this.
