I am brand new to this product. Setting up store, going to be as generic as I can get away with. The store is loaded with a basic grey background. When I say background I mean the farthest edges of the screen encompassing the head and footer area. Where is this color controlled from? I looked at the .css files but don't know what line it is.

Secondly

I would also like to know what this line of code from pcheader11.css controls. I changed the background color and did not see a change anywhere.

body {
    padding: 0;
    margin: 0;
    font-family: Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif;
    font-size: 12px;
    color: #666;
    background-image: url(images/pc11-bg.png);
    background-color: #2755a7;
}

/* ----- Header - Start ----- */

Thanks

Hi Chris,

Sorta looks like you've answered your own question here.

You've found the CSS for the background. That's exactly where the background image is being called. You wouldn't notice much change in the background color, as it's got a background image over it.

Have another look at the snippet of CSS you've pasted in your post.

ah....I see. An actual image is used. Interesting way of doing it. All new to me. Coming over from SF5 and frontpage. Will explore further. Thanks

Ah yes, good ol' StoreFront 5. I remember it well ... though I couldn't say fondly ;-)

You will be so much better off getting off of that old stuff and onto PC.

Incidentally, if you are still using FrontPage and prefer to continue to use a Microsoft editor like that, you should seriously upgrade to MS Expression Web or perhaps SharePoint Designer. You can download SharePoint Designer 2007 from MS for free here, if you like:
