Hello,

does any one have any information on issues with more then one catalog open at the same time? I have a few different catalogs for retail and wholesale purposes, plus geographic locations. When two or more of these catalogs are open I am guessing they are sharing cookies and it can cause all kinds of issues. Does anyone have any info on adjusting the cookies to eliminate for starters unrestricted access?

Thanks in advance,

Gary

Hi Gary,
Can you explain what you mean by catalog in the context of either your site or ProductCart.
Thanks,
  Hamish

Hello Hamish,

as mentioned I have multiple copies of Product Cart. For example if I log into the back end of catalog 1 all is good as expected. If I click on a link of the back end of catalog 2 instead of opening to the login page it just logs in. I have different logins and passwords for both catalogs. Similar if 2 catalogs are open on the front end and you login to accounts i have seen issues where the shopping cart does not work properly. I am guessing the cookies from both catalogs are being shared and causing issues. All catalogs are in different directories on my webserver called different names and do not share the same SQL database obviously.

Any thoughts,

Thanks,

Gary

Hi,  This is not behaviour I've seen before. As you can imagine in support we log into many sites a day as well our internal test sites and this doesn't occur for me. Please raise a support ticket so we can properly investigate.
