Remove Order number requirement for guest register |

As ProductCart is set up now, if a customer has checked out as a guest and later tries to register using the same email, they must also enter their old order number.
This is inconvenient and will cause many people not to register. Is there any way to remove this requirement, and just let customers register without having to look up their old order number? My client is really hung up on this one issue - understandable so! If anyone can help I will be most thankful. |

Hi jfusion,
if a customer goes through the checkout process again, they will be asked on the order confirmation page if they want to convert their account to a registered account. So they can make the switch at the end of their second order, without using an Order Number from a previous order. As for the login page, customers can have their order number(s) sent to them by just entering their e-mail address. This is done for security reasons. They can then go back and log in with their e-mail and the order number they just received. |
