Anyone reuse the captcha on the site? I want to put it on another custom page and wanted to see if this was a good idea or should I use another?
I am an expert asp developer / programmer, so I don;t expect difficulty. Thanks! J |

I have not ever re-used the EI Captcha in another page but I am a really big fan of this Captcha:
It is written in pure ASP and just cool in my opinion. I have added this to a few of my customer sites with good results.

Looks like there are no free ASP solutions out there -- most likely due to the fact that native ASP does not support GDI like PHP. Sooo... the best option here is to make your own...

The cost/benefit of developing a bespoke solution for a single site is a non-starter - they are not expensive. Besides, there is a captcha built in to ProductCart and yes, we utilize a third party solution. It changed in V4 and I must say I strongly prefer the new one.
I haven't tried it but I very much doubt it is difficult to add it to additional pages. |

Hamish is right, just use the one that comes with PC.
If you want, check out this solution: http://www.tipstricks.org/
It is free, uses ASP and is OK.
