SQL Question

   I am looking to upgrade to PC version 3.5. I used to have an older version of PC 2.7 with Acess database, until I shut the old website down. With the new version of PC I am looking at using the SQL version. What do I need fot SQL? Software, A bigger Brain to hold more information on SQL database, ie. programming, do I have to maintain SQL or is it a setup and forget like Acess?
