Hello all

I need some help with determining the amount of stock that i have.

When i click on Products > manage product category > and select the heading i want. It displays all the items in that field, under the following headings, SKU, Product Name and Order.

Now what i want to know, is there anyway i can get a column there that shows me the quantity of stock on hand for the specific products?

I want to basically print a list out that shows me the name and amount of stock so that i can every now and then do a manual check to see if anything is missing or not

Thanks

Hi,  Go to : Products > Update Inventory Levels.

An even better solution for a stock check IMHO is to use the custom data export.
Export your product info, including the stock levels & use the spreadsheet generated to carry out your stock check. It means you can format and order the list  in any way that's convenient. You can then make any necessary adjustments either via the inventory levels screen or the individual products screen, or - if you have a LOT of updates you can use the reverse import wizard - but I'd only use the reverse import wizard to update stock levels  at a time when you can shut your store for a short while, so that new orders don't mess it up again.
