I read the FAQ [http://www.earlyimpact.com/faqs/afmviewfaq.asp?faqid=359] on how to setup APO/FPO Armed Forces shipments using USPS, but we do not offer USPS to other customers (which we could work around) and we also have to double ship APO/FPO shipments (which we can't work around) since our suppliers will not ship to an APO/FPO address (because they don't use USPS).
Since we do not ship Internationally, we discovered an easy method to utilize the Custom Shipping options to solve our problem. We were unable to use the method outlined in the FAQ, and although our situation may be unique, you may fall under this category as well. We were able to accomplish this quite easily, and for that reason I'm going to assume someone else has already set this up but just hasn't posted it on the forum. Step 1 - Create 3 Countries and assign them a Country Code (we used MX, GB, KR). ![]() Step 2 - Add 3 States and assign them to the appropriate newly created countries. ![]() Step 3 - Create a new Custom Shipping Option (choose whichever method you prefer). ![]() Step 4 - Be sure to set the option below to International Only and Save. ![]() This is what it will look like on the Customers End ... ![]() Hope that helps someone out!
