I'm in the process of upgrading from v2.75 to v3.11. Unlike on v2.75, on v3.11 my main page that displays the category thumbnail images it looks as if there is cellpadding between them which I don't want. When I look at viewcategories.asp I can't seem to find what's causing this. Can someone give me an idea on where to find this? Also I would like to get rid of the text names below the thumbnail images that says the same thing.

It's quite likely a CSS issue - Firefox with the Web Developer and/or Firebug add-ons is great for examining your pages and understanding exactly what is happening. You can even carry out temporary "edits" against you pages.

Not sure if VMware effects you from seeing the development area that is problematic, but here are the links:
Current store: http://www.drinkarizona.com/ProductCart/pc/viewCat.asp What I'm working on: http://dev.drinkarizona.com/ProductCart/pc/viewcategories.asp as i mentioned, on v311 they category images have spacers or cell padding or somehow built into the CSS |

Hi,
As you suspected I can't see your dev version. Looking at your current version it looks like a customized version anyway as there are no category names being shown, which I don't think was an option. The section of code / css you need to examine & change refers to CSS styles pcShowCategory pcShowCategoryImage and pcShowCategoryInfo . These are in pcStorefront.css and pcShowCategoryH / pcShowCategoryP / pcShowCategoryFeatured - which are called from viewcategories. HTH Hamish |
