Subcategories not updating correctly

   I set up my store front using the standard header and footer files and modified them for my colors.  I didn't think I deleted anything important, but I must have.  In my top left Nav bar, where the categories and subcategories are listed, they aren't updating when I delete, hide or add through my pc control panel.  They are changing correctly in the main page, just not the Nav Bar.  Any suggestions?  Thank you in advance.

	It is necessary to re-generate the nav when you alter categories or subcategories. Settings, Generate Navigation.

	If you want it to be dynamic then look in the developers corner of the wiki or the Early Impact website. There is code there for dynamic navigation.
