Hello everyone.
i was wondering if BTO could be used to customize a downloadable product. lets say the user customizes a downloadable product. lets say its a box and one of the options is the color and they chose the red color. i would have different box files which have different colors. can BTO point at the right one? thanks for the help guys. |

Hi a3dcreator!
ProductCart (version 3.5 and above) supports the ability to have selections on the Build To Order product configuration page be digital goods. So the download link(s) and related information delivered to the customer when the order is processed (e.g. serial numbers, licenses, installation instructions, etc.) will change depending on which items are selected by the customer on the configuration page. For example, let's assume that you are selling images of different quality (low resolution vs. high resolution). With this new feature the image download link delivered to the customer would be different depending on which item is selected on the product configuration page.
