Featured Products withinin Categories

Hi all,

as more features are added to ProductCart, still more come to mind.

A particularly useful one might be the concept of Featured Products at a Category as well as store level.

Then we could promote a product or multiples within a particular product type.

With the concept of 'hero' products being used prominantly at present - a 'leading' product promoted above others to stimulate sales, it would facilitate this very easily.

The new 'highlight first Featured Product' in V3 enables this at a store level... but being able to do it at the category pages (which some of our customers link directly to) would be very helpful.

I'm sure many of us could see immediate use for this.

	Hi all, V3 adds featured products by category, but not by sub-category. It would therefore be very helpful to be able to feature products at the sub-category level. For example 'music styles' in my store is a category where 'folk rock' or 'celtic folk' are sub-categories. I would like to be able to set a featured 'folk rock' etc album. cheers Mark
