I am in the midst of setting up my cart and am running into a problem. I have created a relationship/bundle, made sure the cross selling is turned on in general settings and have set the relationship to be a bundle. The bundle is not showing on the product page (that is also selected). I am wondering if it may be because the primary product has a lot of sub products? If that is not the reason, I'm open to suggestions.
Thanks in advance for any help. I *need* this to work. Edited to add: I see that they will show if I choose it not as a bundle. Can the cart be modified so that this will show when the primary product has sub-products, or can someone tell me how to set that? The reason the products show when you've set them as "not a bundle" is because at that point it's a related product, they can't just click a box and add it to the cart when they add the main product to the cart (as opposed to a bundle relationship). Reasoning behind hiding the product if there are subproducts (not because of the subproducts, but because there are options that must be provided) is that you can't add the products to the cart without choosing an option.. same reason the quantity field would be hidden for the product if you set the product's category view as listing w/ multiple add to cart. You can't just add something to the cart without selecting options IF options exist.
Only real way to overcome this is provide the options and such in the related/bundled products area... which, really, isn't all that great of an idea considering you'd need to do a ton of work to make the bundle pricing accurate in the event you have options/subproducts with additional costs.
