As of v3.1 we were using the three custom search fields available and updating them with a SQL query from a table imported into the database we created from Access (dbo.Product Cart).
This data went into these fields in the dbo.products table custom1 ---Color content1 custom2 ---Country content2 custom3 ---Catalog Page Number content3 Well since upgrading to version 3.5 there is a slight problem with that. Looks like all data was converted from the old fields into the new fields in different tables product cart uses. I have found all the information Early Impact provides about the new fields being used. Love the new custom search field look... but it now seems a little more complicated to update/append. Is anyone updating this not using the Admin control panel with some sort of query? If not what is the easiest way to update these fields through the import feature? Any suggestions would be helpful. Here is the link to our advanced search and the huge list of searches we use. Over 1900 distinct idSearchData entries with 3 current idSearchFields. http://shop.rings-things.com/cart/pc/search.asp |
