USPS International Rates

I ship daily packages to International destinations. Ever since the rate changes this past May - Product cart is not returning all of the correct options for International mail.

For instance - when you go to the USPS choices -
Surface economy, Airmail Parcel Post, etc are still listed.... These are gone!

The big problem - Global Priority Airmail is not listed!
Any package over 4lbs International must be sent either Priority Airmail of Express Airmail. Of course Priority is much less than express! But product cart won't show it.

I upgraded to ver 3.5 figuring this would have been corrected. But I don't see it.

Thanks for the help in getting this corrected.

Hi Gary,
 ProductCart gets the rates for the configured services via the API. There may be an issue with the way your USPS connection is configured. Please raise a support ticket so we can properly assist.

I don't think it has anything to do with the api on my store.

I just went to the control panel for the EI demo store:
They had these usps shipping options:
Active Shipping Services:
  • USPS Global Priority Mail - Flat-rate Envelope (large)
  • USPS Priority
  • USPS Express
  • USPS Parcel
  • USPS First Class
  • USPS Global Express Mail (EMS)
  • USPS Economy (Surface) Parcel Post - does not exist
  • USPS Global Priority Mail - Flat-rate Envelope (small)
  • USPS Global Priority Mail - Variable Weight Envelope (single)
  • USPS Airmail Letter Post - does not exist - now called first class international
  • USPS Global Express Guaranteed Document Service
  • USPS Economy (Surface) Letter Post - does not exist
  • USPS Global Express Guaranteed Non-Document Service
  • USPS Bound Printed Matter
  • USPS Media Mail
  • USPS Library Mail
  • USPS Airmail Parcel Post - does not exist - Global Priority Airmail
If the test store is incorrect, I must assume the choices are incorrect in the s/w and that's why the s/w never returns results for the other shipping methods.

There was an update issued for the USPS change in May.

The files for the update are located in the support center archives
http://www.earlyimpact.com/productcart/support/archive.asp

This update was for v3.11, so I'm not sure if it works with v3.5 or not.

Just an update, open a support ticket with EI, there is a patch file that corrects this issue in v3.5.

Yes thanks - I opened a support ticket, and was sent a zip file to run from the control panel. It updated the names in my 3.5 store.
So all is working now.

Strange how the update from 3.11 to 3.5 did not correct this if you had not already run the previous fixes.

I did try them but they didn't change anything.
