Working on building the ver 5.1.01 cart up before going live. Selected Bootstrap_Blue theme. In the process of building the slideshow across the top and wanted to add links for people to click on the image and go to a ProductCart page.
Tried one with this: viewCategories.asp?idCategory=199
However, when I save it to use, it saves it like this: viewCategories.asp?idCategory199 It leaves out the crucial "=" sign for the string! I though maybe it wasn't recognizing the character, so I tried to use the encoded format for equals-sign: %3D. It removed THAT as well! Am I doing something wrong?? What's the deal? Is there a ProductCart .asp page where this URL is saved where I can go in and manually "force" the character in the URL? PLEASE HELP!!!

Hi Mark,
To clarify - have you installed the Security Patch dated 9/30 on your store? If not, make sure to re-download that and upload the files. If so, then you should reset the variable in your ProductCart Defender Settings file to "0", and logout of your ProductCart Control Panel close all browsers. Then login again to refresh the settings and the issue with the = sign should be resolved. If not, please open a ticket so that we can communicate with you securely.

Hi Mark,
- Modify the file "includes/defenderSettings.asp" so the value inside is 0 (it will say 3). - Close all browser windows - Open a new browser window and log back into the store. That should update your security definitions so it doesn't remove the query string on your URL. |
