Hi
Is anyone currently using Protx (particularly in the UK). I am looking to move a client on to it but wondered if PC and Protx allowed the following... 1) Customer places order and gives card details - at this stage they are just checked as supplier cannot guarantee stock availability 2) When order is processed and stock confirmed as available, can we just press a button to charge the card details that were supplied? 3 If we have to change the order (higher or lower final price) can we charge that amount automatically? Hi Gavin,
We have quite a few customers using Protx and we are also official 'Protx Partners'
In answer to your questions:
1) Yes you can set it to authorise the card without actually making the sale.
2) You can do this through your Protx admin panel - not sure about what Productcart does at this point because I don't have any other customers on authorize only. I can check for you.
3) Yes you can modify the order but you'd have to have the OK from your customer first. It's a bit fiddly because you may have already authorised a higher price. Protx is quite flexible because you can make changes directly in your Protx admin panel.
Hope this helps
Feel free to contact me if you need any more
