Hi Brett,
Here is a summary; I assist in the management of a website; libertytest.com, over the last year we have had some new manufacturers and have changed a couple manufacturers names, until recently we did not notice any problem with the name changes, but now we know that in the search function for the website we cannot get results by searching on the new manufacturers names, results only come back if we search the old manufacturers names, here are the two specific problems we have found:
1. I reviewed the database and found that changing the manufacturers names using the admin pages does not change the manufacturers (brandname) names for the products.
2. The search function seems to not consider the manufacturers names for the search and appears to only return results from the product number and description.

	After reviewing this further, we cannot replicate the Brand Search issue in the current version, so this has already been address and we recommend that you upgrade your ProductCart store.

	They indicated earlier in the thread that the store is at 3.11. I also observed that the site structure has been altered. Agreed, they really do need to upgrade. If for no other reason than the security ramifications.
