Currently have only USPS active, and the following services turned on:
USPS Parcel USPS Priority USPS Express USPS Economy (Surface) Parcel Post Priority MailĀ® International First-Class MailĀ® International Our business is in the USA -- if a customer from say, Canada, starts to checkout and puts in a Canadian shipping address, they get the message "No shipping rates were returned for your order. The shipping provider's server may be unavailable at this time. Please try again in a few minutes. If the problem persists, please contact the store administrator." If they use a USA address, it works fine. Any ideas on how to diagnose this? Could it be something we've configured wrong? Running latest ProductCart. Thanks in advance.

Hi, The problem is that the US Postal service is not accepting Canada bound packages until the postal strike in Canada is over. I am guessing that they do not want warehouses of boxes piling up. Global Express mail from the US post office will be accepted because that is actually a service that is provided by Federal Express. I had some E-Mails from our friends up north stating that they could register but could not get shipping info. I am guessing that the strike will not last long and will look for your order in a week or so. A Canadian customer wrote me today saying that The Feds here are introducing a "get back to friggin work order" today.I hope this helps, Dave |
