In dire need of help!!!
![]() I am switching our ProductCart license to a new installation of PC on another web hosting company's servers. I need to know what steps I need to take to close out the "old" ProductCart on the old web host so that the license will work on the "new" ProductCart with our new hosts. I have the database from the old cart copied over to the new cart (so as not to lose data & products), but I can't access the new cart's administration system because of the pre-existing cart on the old web server. Please, if someone could post here or send me a PM regarding the steps I need to take to deactivate the old PC and reactivate the license on the new server/copy of PC, I would greatly appreciate it. I had wanted to make the switch today before the holiday weekend. Thanks in advance for all your help. |

Thank you for the URL pointing to the wiki article.
I don't understand what "close the store" entails. I have had the store on the old server set to "off" since Friday (10/9/09) afternoon, yet when I try to login to the new store, I still get the error that a previous store is active on another server.
Is part of closing the old store mean pointing the domain to the new server before the store will allow me to login and work?
