Checkout process "section completed" blue check

Question about the check out process. Currently when you check out with v4.0 you get a blue check mark with a "section completed" mouse flyover. The interesting thing is that you get this for each section no matter if you are on the first section or not. Is this supposed to work that way? We currently changed the icon and flyover to say "next section." This was brought to our attention by a customer and we never noticed it before. She was worried that all the sections were completed and she didn't even choose a shipping option yet. We explained that as you hit continue you get to those sections. Was just curious if this was the same with everyone or just a random thing with our store?

No, it should not work that way. Can you replicate this behavior on our demo stores? Are you running the latest files (v4.0 SP3)?

Hi,
We get all the blue check marks too, from the beginning of one page checkout all blue checks are showing.  Also running latest files v4.3

I thought it was strange too.

Just looked at another store we recently upgraded.  Same issue.
 
Once I logged in as a returning customer, the checkbox adjacent to "Address", "Shipping Method" and "Payment & Other Information" are all visible.

We see what you are referring to. It does not affect the checkout process for new customers. It only happens when you are a returning customer. The reason is that the system detects that you already have a billing and shipping address on file.

was there ever a resolution/change for this, I've just installed v4 and can tell that this is going to be an issue with customers getting confused.
