I'm having an issue with injector.com.  The cart allows you to select a product, but as soon as an attempt is made to check, the cart is shown as empty. The issue only appears to happen with a first time use. When subsequent visits are made, the product is not lost, but there are other issues that appear to be session related like clearing out the cart from the previous version. Are there any special IIS settings or permissions that need to be considered? The Cart is using an SSL.

If this is IIS7, make sure this setting is "false". It is probably set to "true".

I have limited access to IIS as I am on shared hosting, where would I find this setting, is it in an .httpd file?

Ask your host to make the setting. In IIS7, when they display the site, have them open the ASP settings. This is down near the bottom of the list.

If the host won't help, get a better host.

Hi,  I'dstart by asking the hosting company to check and perhaps change the setting. They may well be reluctant to change it. The root cause of what you are seeing is a change of sessionid. All the causes and solutions we have found are shown on the following WIKI page : http://wiki.earlyimpact.com/developers/timeout-issues including an alternative solution if the issue is the IIS7 setting and they will not change the IIS7.

By the way, I recommend reviewing your website with Firefox and with Firebug installed. There are at least a couple of image files missing which will generate 404 errors.
